About The Bibi Fund

The Bibi Fund was started by the Niedzielski family after they received the devastating news that their 3 year old daughter, Bianca, was diagnosed with EMTR, a very rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. The family moved from their home in London to Boston to start Bianca on a year-long grueling treatment plan to fight her cancer, and as one of the lucky few, Bianca is in early remission today.

Throughout this journey the family learned the ins and outs of the tragic realities of childhood cancer, the most shocking being the unfathomable lack of research funding. Most pediatric cancers are extremely rare, thus largely ignored by the pharmaceutical industry, receiving a mere 4% of government oncology research grants. In response to being faced with this new reality, the family devoted a huge part of their lives to the research of aggressive and rare pediatric cancers by creating the Bibi Fund. 

Solving Kids' Cancer

The Bibi Fund is partnered with Solving Kids’ Cancer, an independent and non-profit certified organization focused on aggressive childhood cancers with low survival rates through next-generation treatments and high-impact research projects. Solving Kids’ Cancer gives 100% of all donations to research funding to foster the development of innovative clinical trials that bring more effective treatments to children around the globe.
